Ava Cavasos is a freelance filmmaker located in Nashville, TN. Though she works mainly in cinematography as a DP and 1st AC, she believed the world needed to discover the story of Vol State and decided to direct. While her dad (a 2025 participant) was the one who initially inspired this documentary, she quickly found her own love and passion for the Vol State ecosystem.
Jackson King is a freelance documentary filmmaker from Nashville, TN. Pioneering redemptive, hopeful, and intimate storytelling, he’s aimed for Vol State 500k to emphasize the importance of community over all else. Other works of his include music videos, narrative shorts, student films, and short documentaries.
