Three Step
Madison Cooper & Maggie Baldwin · 2026 · 6 minutes
As a couple dance through the ups and downs of life and slowly drift apart, challenges begin to test whether their rhythm can survive the daily demands they face.

Madison Cooper is a 2D animator, 2D rigger, and writer from Franklin, Tennessee. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Animation and a minor in English. Her professional experience includes work for MT IMAGINE Animation Studios, where she was a 2D animator on a set of five 30-second commercials for the Ollie Otter Foundation, and later a Team Leader on the studio’s film All One, which included work from 97 students and went on to win a Silver Telly award. She coordinated a team of five students to create a 22 second portion of the film.

Maggie Baldwin is a 2D and 3D animator with a passion for telling character-driven stories, inspired early on by animated films like DreamWorks’ Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, which showed her how powerful animation can be even with minimal dialogue. A recent graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Animation and a minor in writing, she carried that fascination into her own work, including her first film Three Step, where she helped convey a couple’s life journey without dialogue by relying on music, character movement, and expressive animation.
