A filmmaker returns to his hometown that built the atomic bomb. There he meets the workers who created humanity’s greatest weapon and now wrestle with their legacy, while their grandchildren inherit a world on the brink of nuclear catastrophe.

Riley Fitchpatrick is a filmmaker and writer from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. After growing up surrounded by film and theater courtesy of his actor father, he decided to attend film school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. This is his first foray into the documentary world. He is currently working at RadicalMedia where he works with acclaimed directors such as Derek Cianfrance, Dave Meyers, and Joe Talbot.

Grant Conversano is a filmmaker from Concord, North Carolina. Grant co-founded Apple House Pictures with their brother Adam Conversano in 2020. Their award-winning short film, SUMMER’S END, was featured recently in Filmmaker Magazine and received a Vimeo Staff Pick. Grant is alum of UNCSA and the Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium, a recipient of the Davey Grant for Emerging Filmmakers, and a 2020 Indie Grits Lab Real Fiction Fellow. Grant is on staff annually in the education department at the Telluride Film Festival.
