Kara McLeland is a Nashville, Tennessee–based artist with over a decade of experience creating across diverse mediums, from the stage to the screen to live radio. She’s particularly excited by work that tackles challenging topics with humor and purposeful, nuanced satire. She is also a co-founder of Deep Strange Productions, a creative team dedicated to out-of-the-box storytelling.

Madeleine Hicks is a Nashville-based writer, director, and performer whose work spans theater and film. Her projects often explore social and political themes through the lens of the female experience, most recently in her debut feature, Sunshine Girls, a queer love story set in a candy-colored dystopian world that premiered at Defy Film Festival in 2025. She is also a co-founder of Deep Strange Productions.
